Sit down for a moment with a piece of paper and a pen. Now, write down everything you have consumed in the last 24 hours. Take your time to write down every drink and even every glass of water you had along with snacks and meals.
Circle all the water rich foods that still had their natural water in them. Finally calculate what percentage of your diet is made up of water rich foods.
If the percentage is below 50% your diet is poor and needs attention.
If above 50% you are on the right track but need to up the intake of water rich foods.
Keeping this percentage above 70% is a good measure of keeping yourself healthy and hydrated. Make sure you eat a salad with every meal and substitute fruits for snacks. Ensure that the water you drink is free from chemicals and bacteria. Invest in a quality water filter that will ensure the purity of every drop of water you drink.
